Ornate Baroque-Inspired Dining Table and Upholstered Chair Set
Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo-influenced European furniture traditions, this dining set combines a heavily carved rectangular table with sculptural upholstered chairs. The table features a broad rectangular top, deeply carved apron and an elaborate central pedestal base with fluted supports, acanthus foliage, scrolls and shell-like ornament. The carved apron and pedestal are visually integrated, creating a continuous decorative composition across the table.
The matching chairs feature high ornamental backs, shaped crest rails, carved open frames and upholstered seats, with scrolling motifs repeated through the legs and lower rails. The pale painted finish with gilded detailing emphasizes the relief carving and formal proportions of the ensemble.
Designed for formal dining rooms, grand residential interiors, European-inspired spaces and traditional hospitality settings.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission
