Sizes, Inclusions & Visual Representation
-
All dimensions mentioned in product descriptions or the Standard Dimensions Guide are final and used for pricing and production.
-
Product images are provided for visual guidance only. Scale, proportion, colour tone, or finish may appear different due to lighting, photography, or screen settings.
-
Any décor, accessories, or styling elements shown are for representational purposes unless explicitly stated as included.
-
Customisation of dimensions, finishes, polish, carving depth, fabric, marble, or detailing may attract additional charges, which will be communicated prior to order confirmation.
-
Different materials and finishes may carry different costs; final pricing must always be confirmed before payment.
Design Philosophy: Inspiration vs Replica
Sidqa does not create replicas or exact copies of existing products, irrespective of whether reference images, brand names, or externally sourced designs are shared.
-
Any reference image shared by a client is treated strictly as design inspiration, not as a blueprint for duplication.
-
Each Sidqa piece is an original, handcrafted interpretation, developed in line with Sidqa’s design language, craftsmanship standards, and material approach.
-
Differences in proportion, detailing, carving style, joinery, polish, material behaviour, and overall visual outcome are inherent and intentional.
-
Price point, material availability, scale, and handcraft techniques significantly influence the final outcome. As such, a product inspired by a high-value or luxury reference will naturally differ in execution when produced at a different budget.
-
Sidqa does not guarantee visual, dimensional, or material parity with any external product, brand, or reference.
By placing an order, the client expressly acknowledges and accepts that the final piece will be inspired by, but not identical to, any reference shared.
Fabric & Marble Allowances
-
Fabric Allowance: Fabric cost up to ₹1,500 per meter is included in the base product price. Fabrics exceeding this amount are chargeable separately unless agreed otherwise in writing.
-
Marble Allowance: Marble cost up to ₹1000 per square foot is included where applicable. Any marble selection exceeding this rate will be charged additionally.
-
All upgraded material selections must be approved before procurement.
Fabric & Material Sourcing
All fabrics, marbles, and materials are sourced from third-party suppliers.
If a selected material becomes unavailable or delayed, Sidqa will notify the client and offer suitable alternatives or revised timelines. Such circumstances are beyond Sidqa’s direct control and do not constitute default.
Production & Client Review Process
1. Stage-Wise Updates
Sidqa provides progress images at multiple stages of production, including carpentry, fabrication, polishing, detailing, and final assembly.
Client feedback is limited to the current production stage. Requests requiring reversion to completed stages may be declined or may involve additional time, labour, or material adjustments.
2. Client Response Timelines
Clients are expected to review and respond to shared updates within 24–48 hours. Delays in response may impact production timelines and workflow sequencing.
Handmade Nature & Natural Variations
All Sidqa products are handcrafted. Natural variations of approximately 10–20% in colour tone, carving depth, polish finish, texture, or grain are intrinsic to hand-crafted furniture and are not considered defects.
These variations reflect the individuality of each piece and are integral to the craft process.
Force Majeure
Sidqa shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, strikes, pandemics, or logistics disruptions.
Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mohali, Punjab (India).
