Italian Rococo-Inspired Carved Rectangular Coffee Table
Drawing from Italian Rococo and 18th-century European decorative furniture, this rectangular coffee table is defined by a moulded top, carved apron, curved cabriole legs and an open lower shelf. The rectangular upper surface is framed by layered moulding, with carved scrolling foliage and foliate ornament arranged across the front apron and concentrated at the corners. The cabriole legs follow a flowing curved profile, with carved botanical details along the knees and shaped feet that continue the decorative vocabulary of the apron. The lower shelf provides additional storage while maintaining an open visual structure, with its framed edge echoing the geometry of the upper section. A painted finish with gilded accents emphasizes the carved details.
Suitable for drawing rooms, reception areas, sitting rooms and classically detailed living interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
