Ornate Baroque-Inspired Dining Table and Gilded Chair Set
Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo-influenced European furniture traditions, this dining set combines a substantial rectangular table with elaborately carved and gilded upholstered chairs. The table features a broad rectangular top with a moulded edge and shaped apron, supported by a sculptural central base with curved supports, carved foliage and ornamental feet. The dark stained tabletop creates a strong contrast with the lighter carved framework.
The matching chairs feature high upholstered backs, carved crest rails, scrolling arm supports and cabriole legs, with extensive foliate carving continuing across the frame. Deep red patterned upholstery provides a contrasting textile layer against the gilded woodwork, reinforcing the formal character of the ensemble.
Designed for formal dining rooms, grand residences, European-inspired interiors and statement hospitality spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
