Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo-influenced European furniture traditions, this grand dining set features a substantial rectangular table with a highly figured top, moulded apron and extensively carved supports. The base incorporates acanthus foliage, scrolling volutes, shell ornament and carved feet, with a continuous lower stretcher adding structure between the monumental legs. The richly gilded finish emphasizes the deep relief and layered carving across the frame.
The accompanying chairs feature high upholstered backs, shaped crest rails, carved frames and cabriole legs, with pale patterned upholstery providing contrast against the gilded woodwork. The coordinated carving and proportions give the complete ensemble a strongly formal character.
Designed for grand dining rooms, classical residences, European-inspired interiors and formal hospitality spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
