Louis-Inspired Carved Console with Framed Mirror
Drawing from late Louis XV and early Louis XVI French decorative furniture, this console combines a restrained rectangular case with carved classical ornament and curved support legs. The top is defined by a projecting moulded edge, while the façade contains three drawers with recessed panels and delicate carved foliate detailing. The corners are articulated with vertical carved elements, and the supports transition from fluted upper sections into pronounced cabriole legs with scroll feet.
The matching rectangular mirror has a moulded frame enriched with beaded edging and restrained floral carving, providing a more architectural counterpart to the console. The painted ivory finish with subtle darker detailing emphasises the relief work without obscuring the construction.
Suitable for entry halls, dressing rooms, drawing rooms and formal transitional interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
