Italian Rococo-Inspired Carved Glass Coffee Table

Drawing from Italian Rococo and late-Baroque decorative furniture, this rectangular coffee table is defined by a framed glass top, carved apron and pronounced cabriole supports. The clear glass upper surface and lower shelf create an open construction, while the surrounding wooden rails are finished with restrained moulding and gilt detailing. Each leg features a strongly curved profile with carved scrolls, fluted sections and acanthus-leaf ornament, terminating in shaped feet. The carved corner supports extend into the apron, creating a continuous decorative transition between the top and base. The muted painted finish with gilded highlights emphasizes the carved structure while retaining the formal character of the design.

Suitable for drawing rooms, reception areas, sitting rooms and classically detailed living interiors.

The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
