Italian Rococo-Inspired Wall-Mounted Bedside Console
Drawing from 18th-century Italian Rococo and European decorative furniture, this wall-mounted bedside console is defined by a compact rectangular top, carved apron and strongly curved supports. The upper surface has a shallow projecting edge, while the apron is enriched with scrolling foliage, acanthus leaves and a central carved floral motif, framed by smaller foliate details at the corners. The two curved supports sweep downward from the apron before turning inward toward a central lower ornament, creating an open triangular structure characteristic of Rococo furniture. Carved leaf motifs continue along the supports and terminate in small scrolling feet, while the distressed painted and gilded finish emphasises the relief carving.
Suitable for bedrooms, dressing rooms, entrance halls, galleries and traditional European-inspired interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
