Drawing from Louis XVI and Neoclassical seating, this side chair is defined by a circular medallion back framed in shaped timber. The upholstered back and seat feature a restrained vertical stripe textile, giving the chair a clear linear accent against the rounded back profile. The seat rail incorporates square corner blocks and moulded detailing, while the tapered legs are articulated with turned collars and shallow fluting. The combination of the circular back, geometric seat construction and vertically detailed legs reflects the ordered vocabulary associated with late-eighteenth-century French furniture. The light timber finish and neutral upholstery make the chair suitable for dining rooms, breakfast rooms, bedrooms, dressing areas and French-inspired residential interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
