Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture, this armoire uses a restrained cabinet form softened by the curved profiles associated with the Louis XV tradition. The tall two-door case is framed by a gently projecting cornice and a shaped lower apron, creating a continuous flowing outline.
The exterior is finished in a light painted tone with fine gilt edging, while small gilt floral and foliate mounts decorate the upper door panels and central hardware. The doors are enclosed by recessed moulded borders, with paired decorative handles and hanging tassel details at the centre. The lower section terminates in curved cabriole legs with gilt feet, giving the substantial cabinet a lighter visual base.
Suited to bedrooms, dressing rooms, guest suites and classically detailed interiors, the piece provides enclosed storage while maintaining a distinctly decorative furniture character.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
