Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture and Rococo-influenced seating, this dining chair set features sculpted wooden frames with pronounced curved profiles and ornamental carving. Each chair has a distinctive shield-shaped upholstered back, framed by flowing mouldings, carved floral details and a shaped crest rail. The deep reddish-brown wood finish provides contrast against the light upholstery.
The seats are generously upholstered in a plain ivory fabric, with scalloped front edges and cabriole legs continuing the curved vocabulary of the backs. Decorative carving appears at the crest, back corners, apron and feet, giving each chair a strongly ornamental character while maintaining a coordinated set.
