French Rococo Canopied Bed
Drawing from 18th-century French Louis XV furniture and Rococo interior design, this bed combines a shaped upholstered headboard, carved foliate ornament, a compact canopy and curved supporting frame.
The headboard features a high arched profile with deep diamond button tufting across the upholstered centre. Its surrounding frame carries carved floral and foliate ornament, with a pronounced central crest extending beneath the canopy. The canopy is formed by a carved crown with gathered sheer drapery falling symmetrically toward the sides, creating a defined vertical composition. The upholstered footboard follows a gently curved profile and is supported by shaped cabriole-style feet with carved detailing.
The ivory upholstery provides a continuous textile surface across the headboard and bed frame, complemented by the warm-toned carved wood and sheer canopy fabric.
Suitable for French-inspired bedrooms, classical residences, period-style interiors and boutique hospitality suites.
