Fluted Pedestal Dining Table with Upholstered Chairs
Drawing from 20th-century European and contemporary classical furniture traditions, this dining set combines a substantial pedestal table with tall upholstered dining chairs. The table features a broad circular or softly rounded top supported by a central fluted pedestal, formed with closely spaced vertical ribs and a stepped circular base. The dark wood finish emphasizes the linear texture of the pedestal while providing contrast against the lighter upholstery.
The accompanying chairs feature high upholstered backs, gently curved upper rails and tapered wooden legs, with dark wood edging framing the pale fabric. The upholstered backs create a continuous visual rhythm around the table, while the central pedestal keeps the arrangement visually open beneath the tabletop.
Designed for formal dining rooms, contemporary classical residences, hospitality interiors and refined European-inspired settings.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
