Drawing from French Louis XV and Rococo seating, this armchair features a shaped upholstered back enclosed by a curved timber frame, with carved detailing following the crest and outer rails. The exposed frame has a rich dark wood finish, while the arms are supported by gently curved arm posts and padded hand rests. The deeply upholstered seat is finished with button tufting, creating a structured surface that contrasts with the smooth floral-patterned back upholstery. The cabriole legs continue the flowing profile of the frame and terminate in understated scroll feet. The combination of botanical upholstery, curved construction and restrained carving makes the chair suitable for drawing rooms, reading areas, bedrooms and traditional residential interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
