Drawing from Louis XVI and Neoclassical seating, this side chair is defined by a rounded oval back framed in moulded timber. The upholstered back and seat are finished in a blue textile, creating a clear contrast with the pale wood frame. The back follows the characteristic medallion form associated with Louis XVI furniture, while the lower structure remains more geometric, with a straight seat rail, square corner blocks and tapered legs. Subtle vertical moulding and turned details articulate the legs without introducing excessive ornament. The shaped back frame gives the chair a formal profile while maintaining a relatively light visual structure. It is suited to dining rooms, breakfast rooms, bedrooms, dressing areas and French-inspired residential interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
