Italian Baroque-Inspired Carved Glass Coffee Table
Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo decorative furniture, this rectangular coffee table is defined by a carved apron, curved cabriole legs and a painted-and-gilt decorative finish. The clear glass top sits within a shaped wooden frame, providing a clean surface that allows the elaborate base to remain visually prominent. The apron is enriched with scrolling foliage, shell-like motifs and carved floral details arranged across the front and side rails. Deeply curved legs continue the Rococo vocabulary, tapering into shaped feet with gilded accents. The contrasting dark and light finish highlights the carving while retaining the formal character of the piece.
Suitable for drawing rooms, salons, reception areas and classically detailed living interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
