Drawing from mid-century modern and European modernist seating, this armchair is defined by a continuous curved backrest framed in dark timber and fitted with woven cane panels. The broad back rises gently through the centre before returning into the integrated arm supports, creating a controlled wraparound profile. The cane extends across the back and side panels, while the upholstered seat provides a softer counterpoint to the open woven structure. Slender tapered legs continue the frame downward, finished with brass-toned ferrules that introduce a restrained metallic detail. The contrast between dark wood, natural cane and ivory upholstery gives the chair a clear material hierarchy, suitable for dining rooms, studies, living areas, bedrooms and contemporary reception spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
