Italian Rococo-Inspired Carved Coffee Table with Lower Shelf
Drawing from Italian Rococo and 18th-century European decorative furniture, this rectangular coffee table is defined by a moulded top, carved apron, curved cabriole legs and an open lower shelf. The solid upper surface is framed by layered moulding, while the apron carries scrolling foliage, acanthus leaves and restrained foliate ornament arranged across the front and side rails. The four cabriole legs curve gently outward from the apron, with carved botanical details concentrated at the knees and terminating in shaped scroll feet. A clear glass lower shelf follows the rectangular proportions of the table, providing a secondary display surface while maintaining the open construction. The painted finish with gilded accents emphasizes the carved relief and architectural structure.
Suitable for drawing rooms, reception areas, sitting rooms and classically detailed living interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
