Drawing from French Louis XV and Rococo-influenced seating, this dining chair is defined by its shaped cane back, carved timber frame and gently curved legs. The high backrest follows an elongated oval profile with a shaped crest and carved floral ornament concentrated around the upper rail and corners. A woven cane panel fills the central back, enclosed by a moulded frame with additional carved detailing along its perimeter. The upholstered seat has a softly rounded front edge, finished with piped trim and supported by a shaped seat rail. Four slightly curved legs taper toward carved feet, with restrained foliate details continuing from the seat frame. The pale painted finish keeps the carved ornament and natural cane visually distinct.
