Victorian-Inspired Carved Architectural Bar
Drawing from late nineteenth-century Victorian and Neo-Renaissance bar furniture, this bar is conceived as a substantial architectural installation with a symmetrical wraparound arrangement and a richly detailed timber structure.
The lower counter features raised-and-recessed panels, carved foliate ornament, barley-twist columns and moulded pilasters, with a central decorative panel forming the visual focus. The upper section incorporates mirrored display compartments, glass shelving and framed stained-glass panels with geometric and botanical motifs. Carved capitals, layered cornices and turned supports continue the architectural detailing throughout the composition.
Integrated lighting illuminates the bottle and glassware displays, while the continuous brass foot rail defines the service counter. The combination of carved timber, stained glass, mirrors and brass makes the piece suited to private bars, entertainment rooms, dining spaces, clubs and hospitality interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
