Gilded Louis XV Upholstered Bed
Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture and Louis XV design, this bed combines a carved wood frame, serpentine profiles, upholstered panels and sculpted cabriole supports.
The headboard follows a broad curved silhouette, with a central carved crest and continuous moulded edging following the upper rail. Its upholstered centre is finished in pale-blue tufted fabric, arranged in a structured button-tufted pattern. The footboard repeats the same curved construction, with deeply upholstered panels framed by carved wood and centred by carved ornamental details.
The frame features gilded carved wood, with flowing mouldings, central floral ornament and cabriole legs supporting both the headboard and footboard. The matching upholstery across the headboard and footboard creates a coordinated decorative composition.
Suitable for French-inspired bedrooms, classical residences, period-style suites and boutique hospitality interiors.
The frame may be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the preferred finish and interior scheme.
