Ornate Baroque-Inspired Pedestal Dining Table and Chair Set
Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo-influenced European furniture traditions, this dining set combines an elongated rectangular table with an elaborately carved pedestal base and sculptural upholstered chairs. The table features a broad top with a shaped edge and deeply carved apron, enriched with shell motifs, scrolling foliage and foliate ornament. The central pedestal incorporates fluted sections, carved mouldings and sweeping scroll supports that extend into a broad, four-part base.
The accompanying chairs feature high decorative backs, pierced carved frames, upholstered seats and cabriole legs, with gilded carving defining the crest, rails and lower frame. The ivory-painted finish with gold detailing creates a strong contrast with the dark upholstery.
Designed for formal dining rooms, grand residential interiors, European-inspired spaces and traditional hospitality settings.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
