Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture, this armoire combines a shaped architectural case with Rococo-influenced ornament. The two-door façade features tall recessed panels with gently curved upper rails, framed by raised mouldings and slender vertical stiles. A pronounced serpentine cornice rises toward the centre, where a carved floral crest provides the principal decorative focus. The lower section follows the same curved vocabulary, with a scalloped apron, central carved ornament and cabriole-style feet enriched with applied foliate details. A silver-toned painted finish emphasizes the relief carving while maintaining a consistent monochromatic appearance. Round metal knobs provide restrained functional hardware.
