The table features a broad oval top with a moulded edge and decorative apron, supported by fluted tapered legs enriched with carved collars and foliate details. A central stretcher connects the legs, reinforcing the formal symmetry of the base, while the pale painted and gilded finish emphasizes the carved elements.
The accompanying chairs feature arched cane backs, upholstered seats and tapered legs, with patterned textile upholstery adding contrast to the lighter wooden framework. The combination of cane, carving and restrained gilding reflects the structured decorative language associated with Louis XVI interiors.
