Inspired by French Louis XV and Provincial seating of the 18th century, this salon set combines a carved timber sofa with matching upholstered armchairs, using curved profiles and decorative textiles throughout.
The sofa features a serpentine back, shaped crest rail and carved timber frame, with the arms flowing outward into compact scrolls. Its exposed frame follows the curved outline of the seat and back, while the lower apron is shaped around the individual seating sections and finished with carved detailing.
The matching armchairs use the same curved construction, with rounded backs, enclosed arms and closely fitted upholstery.
The upholstery combines floral textured fabric, striped textile and plain velvet, with contrasting fabrics used across the inner seating, outer backs and lower skirts. Deep buttoned or piped detailing and rows of decorative studs are used selectively along the exposed edges, while the full-length upholstered skirt gives the seating a softer, more relaxed profile.
