Ornate Rococo-Inspired Four-Door Armoire
Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture, this armoire presents a broad, symmetrical case with an elaborate Rococo-influenced decorative programme. The four-door façade is organized with tall recessed panels, each framed by raised mouldings and applied C-scroll and foliate ornament. The central doors incorporate elongated decorative surrounds, while two lower drawers provide additional storage.
The upper section is defined by a projecting cornice and an elaborate carved crest, combining scrolling foliage, shells and floral motifs into a pronounced central composition. A shaped lower apron follows a gently undulating profile, terminating in restrained bracket-style feet with applied carving. The warm ivory painted finish keeps the extensive relief work visually cohesive, while ornamental pulls complement the carved detailing.
Designed for principal bedrooms, dressing rooms and traditional residential interiors, this armoire combines substantial storage with a strongly decorative cabinet form.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
