Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture and the Louis XV tradition, this large cabinet features an architectural upper section combined with a bombe-shaped lower case. The overall form is defined by a strongly projecting cornice, shaped base and curved cabriole legs.
The cabinet is finished in painted ivory with extensive gilded ornament, including asymmetrical foliate scrolls, floral sprays, rocaille-inspired cartouches and moulded borders. The tall doors are framed by applied gilt decoration and incorporate painted pastoral and floral panels, creating individual focal areas across the façade. The lower section features multiple drawers with shaped fronts, floral reserves, gilt mouldings and curved apron detailing.
Its proportions and ornamentation make it suited to classical bedrooms, dressing rooms, formal living spaces and French-inspired interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
