Le Chant d’Hiver — French Rococo Mirrored Wardrobe
Mirrored Rococo-Inspired Armoire
Drawing from 18th-century French decorative furniture, this armoire combines a symmetrical cabinet structure with Rococo-influenced curves and carved ornament. The façade is arranged as a three-door mirrored front, with each tall door framed by raised mouldings and shaped mirror surrounds. The central door rises beneath a pronounced arched section, creating a clear vertical focal point across the case.
The upper cornice follows a sweeping serpentine profile and is centred by an elaborate carved foliate crest, while additional carved ornaments accent the corners. A shaped lower apron mirrors the movement of the crown, incorporating a central shell-and-foliage motif and curved cabriole-style feet. Dark decorative hardware provides contrast against the warm ivory painted finish.
Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms and traditional residential interiors, the armoire combines full-height mirrored surfaces with a strongly ornamental cabinet form.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
