Drawing from mid-century modern and Scandinavian-influenced seating, this armchair combines a rectilinear timber frame with traditional woven cane panels. The backrest is formed as a simple rectangular panel, bordered by a broad dark timber surround, while the seat uses a matching cane surface for a consistent material treatment. Straight, slightly splayed arms project from the rear uprights, and the angled front legs create a clear architectural profile. A lower stretcher system connects the legs and reinforces the open framework without introducing unnecessary ornament. The contrast between the black-stained timber and natural cane gives the chair a defined graphic character, suited to dining rooms, studies, reading areas, living spaces and contemporary hospitality interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
