This tall bar cabinet draws from Neoclassical and early Art Deco furniture traditions, combining a symmetrical architectural form with figured wood panels and restrained geometric detailing. The façade is organised around two full-height doors, each framed with raised mouldings and fine contrasting inlay that follows the rectangular panel construction. Bookmatched wood grain across the doors creates a balanced central composition, while the vertically fluted brass handles introduce a strong linear element and provide a practical opening mechanism. The cabinet is raised on compact turned feet with brass-toned casters, giving the piece a slightly elevated stance and allowing it to be repositioned when required.
The warm brown finish highlights the natural figure and variation of the wood, while the tall enclosed form provides concealed storage for bottles, glassware and bar accessories. Its formal proportions make it suitable for dining rooms, private bars, libraries, drawing rooms and hospitality interiors where a freestanding storage piece is required. The cabinet can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
