Drawing from Italian Baroque and European decorative furniture, this dining suite combines a round glass-topped table with an extensively carved wooden base and upholstered dining chairs. The table features a transparent circular surface supported by a central sculpted pedestal, incorporating scrolling foliage, acanthus leaves and layered ornamental carving. The gilded finish emphasizes the relief work and gives the base a strongly decorative character.
The chairs feature shaped upholstered backs, curved wooden frames and tapered legs, finished in a pale painted tone with contrasting checked upholstery. Their restrained profiles provide a visual balance to the heavily ornamented table, while the glass surface keeps the carved pedestal fully visible. The combination of gilded carving, glass and patterned upholstery creates a distinctly formal European composition.
Designed for formal dining rooms, statement interiors, reception spaces and Italian-inspired residential settings.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
