Carved Italian-Inspired Dining Table with Upholstered Chairs
Drawing from Italian Baroque and Rococo-influenced furniture traditions, this dining table features a broad rectangular top with softly rounded corners, a shaped apron and finely carved decorative detailing. The apron is enriched with central foliate ornament, scrolling motifs and carved corner elements, while the slender cabriole legs continue the curved profile with restrained carved accents. The aged painted finish highlights the relief carving and classical proportions.
The accompanying chairs feature tall, narrow upholstered backs, shaped wooden frames and tapered legs, creating a lighter contrast to the substantial table. Their simple upholstered seats allow the carved table to remain the principal decorative element within the arrangement.
Designed for formal dining rooms, European-inspired residences, classical interiors and refined hospitality spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
