Carved Baroque Glass Dining Table
Drawing from Italian Baroque and classical European furniture, this dining table combines a round glass top with an elaborately carved pedestal base. The transparent circular surface reveals the sculpted support beneath, while the pedestal incorporates fluted detailing, carved foliage, fruit motifs and a broad urn-shaped form. A dark contrasting plinth anchors the base and emphasizes its layered construction.
The table is paired with upholstered dining chairs featuring tall shaped backs, curved rails and slender tapered legs, finished in a muted green textile. Their restrained profiles provide contrast to the heavily ornamented pedestal, while the glass surface maintains visual openness around the carving. The combination of carved wood, transparent glass and subdued upholstery suits formal European interiors with decorative architectural detailing.
Designed for formal dining rooms, reception spaces, statement interiors and classical European-inspired residences.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
