Carved Italian Baroque-Inspired Round Dining Table
Drawing from Italian Baroque and European decorative furniture, this dining table combines a circular top with an elaborately carved supporting frame. The table features a broad rounded top with a moulded edge, supported by four sweeping cabriole-style legs with carved acanthus and scroll ornament. The legs converge into a shaped central base, creating a strong sculptural structure beneath the tabletop.
The accompanying upholstered chair follows a restrained Louis XV-influenced form, with a tall curved back, shaped wooden rails, cabriole legs and pale striped upholstery. The ivory-painted finish with selective gilded detailing highlights the carved foliage and scrollwork throughout the table and chair frames.
Designed for formal dining rooms, drawing rooms, reception areas and European-inspired residential interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
