This tall armoire draws from 18th-century French decorative furniture, with a distinctly Rococo-influenced treatment of its proportions and carved ornament. The cabinet features two mirrored doors set within shaped, moulded frames, with elongated panels that follow the gently curved profile of the doors. A pronounced arched and broken-scroll cornice rises to a central carved crest of scrolling foliage and shell-like ornament, while matching floral carvings accent the upper corners and lower apron. The base follows a shaped serpentine outline, supported on curved cabriole legs with carved knees and rounded feet. The mirrored fronts introduce a practical dressing function while retaining the formal character of the cabinet. Suited to bedrooms, dressing rooms and refined traditional interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
