Inspired by French Art Deco seating of the early 20th century, this sofa combines a streamlined upholstered form with a sculpted timber frame and gently curved geometry.
The back is kept broad and relatively low, enclosed within a continuous upholstered panel framed by exposed timber. The arms flare outward from the back before curving inward toward the front, creating a distinctive profile when viewed from the side. The timber frame continues below the upholstery as a clean horizontal rail, giving the sofa a clearly defined architectural base.
The seating is formed with two deep, individually upholstered cushions, while the back remains as one continuous upholstered panel. The exposed frame is shaped around the curves of the arms and supported on slender, tapered legs that curve subtly outward before meeting the floor.
Finished in a warm metallic wood tone and upholstered in a finely patterned neutral textile, the piece uses restrained detailing rather than applied ornament, reflecting the more geometric approach of French furniture of the period.
