Drawing from French Neoclassical and Louis XVI-influenced seating traditions, this settee features a symmetrical upholstered frame with a gently shaped back, enclosed arms and a broad loose seat cushion. The exposed frame is enriched with gilded mouldings, beaded borders and restrained carved detailing, while the arm supports transition into slender turned legs with fluted profiles and tapered feet.
The white upholstery creates a clear contrast against the gilded woodwork, allowing the linear construction and decorative frame to remain visually defined. Its compact proportions make the piece suitable for both seating arrangements and individual placement within a classical interior.
