Drawing from French Louis XV and Provincial decorative seating, this dining chair is defined by a shaped upholstered back, curved seat rail and slender cabriole legs. The high backrest follows a gently arched profile with a softly curved crest, while the upholstered panel is framed by exposed moulded wood with a distressed painted finish. The seat combines a padded cushion with a woven natural-fibre upholstery panel, giving the chair a relaxed interpretation of traditional French seating. The front legs continue the flowing cabriole profile, tapering into small shaped feet, while the curved seat rail maintains continuity between the back and base. Subtle nailhead detailing along the upholstery frame reinforces the handcrafted character of the design.
