French Rococo-Inspired Wall-Mounted Console and Mirror
Drawing from 18th-century French Rococo and Louis XV decorative furniture, this wall-mounted console is defined by a compact demi-lune profile, carved apron and flowing asymmetrical supports. The shallow top is framed by a shaped edge, while the apron carries C-scrolls, acanthus foliage and a central carved floral ornament. Curved side brackets descend into scrolling terminals, with a central lower scroll providing additional visual support and decorative balance. The painted cream finish with selective gilding follows the decorative treatment associated with French Rococo interiors, allowing the carved details to remain clearly defined without a heavy architectural mass.
The matching mirror follows a tall rectangular-to-arched profile, with a shaped crest and carved floral ornament concentrated along the crown, upper corners and lower terminals. Its narrow frame complements the console while maintaining the vertical proportion of the composition.
Suitable for entrance halls, dressing areas, galleries, drawing rooms and formal French-inspired interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
