Drawing from Louis XVI and Neoclassical seating, this side chair uses a tall, rectangular upholstered back within a shaped timber frame. The upper rail has a restrained stepped profile, while the back and seat are upholstered in a fine grey linen textile with a clean, tailored finish. The seat rail incorporates square corner blocks and moulded detailing, giving the lower frame a structured architectural character. Straight tapered legs are finished with turned collars and subtle fluting, maintaining the geometric vocabulary associated with late-eighteenth-century French furniture. The combination of natural timber and neutral linen makes the chair suitable for dining rooms, bedrooms, studies, dressing areas and classical residential interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
