Drawing from European Neoclassical and grand architectural furniture traditions, this bar is conceived as a substantial freestanding structure with a paneled service counter and integrated bottle display. The lower counter features large raised-and-recessed timber panels, projecting mouldings and heavily carved corner pilasters, while the upper cabinet is framed by fluted columns and carved foliate brackets.
A pronounced architectural cornice runs across the canopy, incorporating dentil moulding, carved ornament and layered horizontal mouldings. The rear display incorporates mirrored panels and glass shelves for bottles and stemware, with concealed lighting integrated into the upper sections. A continuous brass foot rail follows the perimeter of the counter, completing the traditional bar construction.
The rich figured wood finish and architectural proportions make it suited to private bars, dining rooms, entertainment rooms, hospitality interiors and large residential spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
