Mid-Century Teak & Cane Bed
Drawing from 20th-century Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern furniture, this bed combines a warm teak wood structure with a framed cane headboard and broad, horizontal proportions.
The headboard is constructed with teak wood rails and vertical posts, forming a balanced rectangular framework around the central cane panel. The upper section incorporates a woven cane insert with a fine open weave, bordered by smooth teak framing. Below the cane panel, three recessed rectangular sections add definition to the lower headboard while maintaining the linear character of the design.
The teak wood finish highlights the natural grain across the headboard, side rails and substantial footboard. The footboard uses a broad uninterrupted panel, supported by tapered teak legs, while the exposed side rails complete the platform construction.
