Art Deco Gilded Upholstered Bed
Drawing from 20th-century Art Deco furniture and its use of strong geometry, symmetrical ornament and contrasting finishes, this bed combines a substantial upholstered platform with a tall, structured headboard and applied gilt decoration.
The headboard is formed as a broad rectangular upholstered panel, divided into vertical sections and framed in a dark finish. A central decorative composition of gilded scrolling foliage and stylised botanical forms extends horizontally across the lower portion of the headboard, creating a defined ornamental focal point. The low platform base is fully upholstered in a deep brown textile, with a broad continuous footboard and gilt-finished recessed feet providing a contrasting lower detail.
The combination of dark upholstery, gold ornament and clean geometric proportions gives the bed a strong architectural presence. The construction suits contemporary bedrooms, Art Deco-inspired residences, private suites and boutique hospitality interiors.
The frame can also be customized in teak wood, with oak or ash wood available to suit the preferred finish and interior scheme.
