Oval Rococo-Inspired Grand Dining Table and Chair Set
Drawing from French Rococo and late Baroque-influenced European furniture traditions, this grand dining set features an elongated oval top with a shaped edge, heavily carved apron and monumental pedestal supports. The table is defined by scrolling foliage, shell motifs, acanthus leaves and volute carving, arranged across the apron and pedestal base to create a continuous ornamental composition. The polished light-toned top contrasts with the richly gilded carved framework.
The matching chairs feature high upholstered backs, carved crest rails, shaped arms and cabriole legs, with ornamental carving continuing across the frame. The coordinated gilding and pale upholstery reinforce the formal character of the complete ensemble.
