Oval Rococo-Inspired Dining Table and Upholstered Chair Set
Drawing from French Rococo and late Baroque-influenced European furniture traditions, this dining set features an oval table with a shaped top, richly moulded apron and carved pedestal supports. The apron is detailed with repeating floral ornament, scrollwork and foliate carving, while the substantial pedestal combines fluted sections with layered carved mouldings and ornamental relief. The pale painted and gilded finish emphasizes the relief work across the table and coordinated furniture.
The matching chairs feature high upholstered backs, carved crest rails, shaped seat frames and turned front legs, with ornamental details extending across the rails and supports. The patterned upholstery introduces a restrained textile contrast while maintaining the formal character of the carved frames.
Designed for formal dining rooms, grand residences, European-inspired interiors and traditional hospitality spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
