Drawing from English and French-inspired decorative furniture, this bed combines a richly finished wood frame with tailored upholstery and a restrained architectural silhouette.
The headboard features a broad upholstered panel enclosed within a deeply moulded wooden surround, with gently curved upper corners and turned finials adding definition to the profile. The footboard continues the same framed construction, incorporating a large upholstered centre panel above a substantial lower rail. Turned corner posts and stepped mouldings give the frame a strong furniture-like presence, while the warm figured wood finish brings depth to the overall composition.
The neutral upholstery creates a soft contrast against the darker wood, while the upholstered bench introduces a complementary textile layer at the foot of the bed.
Suitable for classical bedrooms, country residences, traditional estates and refined boutique suites.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission. The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
