Drawing from Anglo-Indian and colonial furniture traditions, this four-poster bed combines a dark timber structure with turned posts, open canopy rails and a woven cane headboard.
The bed is defined by four tall turned corner posts, each incorporating rounded collars and elongated turned sections. Horizontal rails connect the posts at the canopy level, while diagonal supports create a structured transition between the posts and upper frame. The headboard features a woven cane panel arranged within a shaped timber surround, with a raised central crest adding a decorative focal point. A solid timber footboard provides a strong horizontal base and balances the open canopy structure.
The deep indigo timber finish contrasts with the natural cane and neutral upholstery, making the bed suitable for colonial-inspired bedrooms, heritage residences and contemporary interiors with crafted natural materials.
