Drawing from French Louis XVI and Neoclassical decorative furniture, this rectangular coffee table combines a framed glass top with a lower display shelf and carved architectural supports. The clear glass surfaces are bordered by a gilded wooden frame, allowing the construction and decorative detailing to remain visible from multiple angles. Fluted, tapering legs are enriched with carved collars and restrained foliate terminals, while the lower shelf repeats the rectangular geometry of the upper frame. Gilded accents highlight the mouldings, leg details and corner blocks, giving the table a controlled decorative character associated with late-18th-century French furniture.
Suitable for drawing rooms, reception areas, sitting rooms and classically detailed living interiors.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
