Italian Rococo-Inspired Wall-Mounted Bedside Console
Drawing from Italian Rococo and 18th-century European decorative furniture, this wall-mounted bedside console is defined by a compact rectangular top, carved apron and an unusually open, heart-shaped support structure. The shallow top has a moulded edge, while the apron is enriched with central shell ornament, scrolling foliage and carved acanthus motifs extending into the corners. The two curved supports sweep downward from the apron in a continuous bow-like profile before meeting at the centre, where a carved foliate motif and paired scroll terminals complete the base. The cream-painted finish with selective gilding emphasises the relief carving and flowing construction while maintaining the light visual character associated with Rococo furniture.
Suitable for bedrooms, dressing rooms, boutique hospitality interiors, entrance halls and traditional European-inspired spaces.
The frame can be crafted in teak wood, with oak or ash wood also available to suit the desired finish and interior scheme.
Made to order, with upholstery and finish selected for each commission.
