Regency-Inspired Upholstered Teak Bed
Drawing from late 18th- and early 19th-century English furniture, this bed combines a structured teak wood frame with upholstered headboard and footboard panels and turned architectural details.
The headboard features a shaped upper rail, gently curved at the shoulders and supported by turned vertical posts with finial details. A large upholstered panel occupies the centre, framed by teak wood rails, while the lower section incorporates an open horizontal framework. The footboard repeats the framed upholstered construction, creating visual continuity between both ends of the bed.
The upholstery uses a soft pale-blue textile, set within recessed rectangular frames to emphasize the proportions of the wood structure. Turned posts, moulded sections and tapered feet complete the construction.
Suitable for classical bedrooms, English-inspired residences, period-style interiors and boutique hospitality suites.
The frame may also be customized in oak or ash wood according to the preferred finish and interior scheme.
